Those who haven’t had the time for a vacation can still drive down to somewhere close

It’s almost the end of the holiday season and for those who haven’t had the time for a vacation, it is ideal to drive down somewhere close like a beach or a hill station for a quick break. Here are some pointers to keep in mind before you start off on that drive.
  • Make sure your car is served before you begin your journey. Lay emphasis on properly working headlights, wipers, the horn and seat belts.

  • Ensure that you have essential items like a first aid kit, fire extinguisher, tool kit and a spare tire in the car.

  • Before starting off, double check that you have all the necessary documents like your registration papers, insurance documents, drivers license. It would do well if you could also include a driving map.

  • If you are driving with a baby, ensure that you have a baby seat fitted in the car.

  • Last but not the least, driving long distances can be quite boring so make sure your music system is all spruced up to provide the necessary entertainment.
